Paul Chamblain Brut NV
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Paul Chamblain Brut is bright, fruit-led French fizz with enough polish for the table and enough freshness to disappear quickly once poured. This Blanc de Blancs brings pear, apple, yellow fruit and a hint of white peach, backed by crisp citrus, a soft mousse and a rounded, lightly creamy palate. Made by the Charmat method to preserve its lively fruit character, it finishes just dry with clean persistence. Keep a bottle chilled for aperitifs, parties or a light fruit dessert. It is friendly, uncomplicated sparkling wine that knows its job and gets on with it.
What the winery says:
The base wines come from selected vineyards in Burgundy, the Loire and Charentes. A second natural fermentation takes place in closed vats using the Charmat method, helping retain the fresh aromas of the Blanc de Blancs base wine. The finished sparkling wine is white-gold in colour, with a fine, persistent mousse, expressive yellow-fruit aromas and a pleasing balance of roundness and freshness. Serve at 7°C to 8°C as an aperitif or with a light dessert, and enjoy within one to two years of purchase.
