Don Hugo Tinto

Don Hugo Tinto is an easygoing Spanish Tempranillo with generous fruit, smooth tannins and plenty of everyday appeal. Grown at 790 metres above sea level in La Mancha, it offers enough structure for the dinner table while remaining soft and approachable on its own. A versatile match for grilled meats, pasta, pizza, mushrooms, ham and medium-aged cheeses.

What the winery says:

Clean and bright with medium depth and a ruby-red rim. The nose is intensely fruity, showing ripe berry aromas, while the palate is structured, finely tannic and well balanced. The wine finishes pleasantly with lingering ripe-fruit notes. Made entirely from Tempranillo, it was fermented under controlled conditions in stainless steel for ten days.
