Wairau River Rose

Wairau River Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown across the Home Block, Spring Creek, Rapaura, Mahers and Angler vineyards, hand-picked in the cool of the morning and pressed straight to a pale blush without maceration. Delicate florals lead into an abundance of strawberry and raspberry on the nose, while the palate stays finely balanced - mineral acidity and a touch of briny complexity carrying fresh stone fruit, strawberry and citrus flavours through to a hint of residual sweetness on the finish. Dry in style but generous in fruit, it's built for long summer afternoons - equally suited to a seafood platter, a picnic, or simply chilled and shared with friends.

Our Rose is all about summer - friends, good food, and having fun, whether that's by the beach or on the back porch. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, the grapes are hand-picked in the cool morning hours and pressed directly, without maceration, to achieve the wine's signature pale blush colour. Fermented in stainless steel, individual parcels rest on light lees before blending to build balance and harmony, then finished and bottled on the estate.
