Nga Waka Rose 2025
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Nga Waka Rosé is a dry, finely textured Martinborough Rosé made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in Nga Waka's Pirinoa vineyard. Red cherry, raspberry and strawberry meet delicate floral notes, with crisp acidity and a subtle saline edge bringing freshness and drive. Minimal skin contact gives the wine its pale pink colour, while cool fermentation preserves its bright fruit and elegant perfume. Refreshing and immediately appealing, it is ideal lightly chilled on its own or alongside seafood, summer salads and lighter dishes.
What the winery says:
Pink blush in colour with delicate aromas of cherry and strawberry. Made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes from the Pirinoa vineyard, the juice was pressed off with minimal skin contact and fermented at low temperatures to produce a fresh, crisp Rosé. The palate combines lively red berries, plum and red apple skin with fine tannins, bright acidity and a distinctly saline finish.
What the experts say:
Cameron Douglas MS, 94/100 (2025 Vintage)
"Made entirely with Pinot Noir fruit – presenting aromas of red cherry and raspberry, an echo of strawberry then blossoms. A bouquet and wine of finesse and charm. Delicious on the palate, saline and salivating, super fine tannins with an exuberant flavour profile of red berries and plum, summer berry pudding and red apple skin. Refreshing, balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2027+."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, 5 Stars (2025 Vintage)
"This is immediately appealing on the nose with aromas of sweet strawberry, lemon peel, apricot, and subtle spice. The palate displays juicy fruit flavours with fleshy texture and bright acidity, making it refreshing and fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2027."
