Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Noir 2024
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Noir is a bright, supple Pinot Noir made for early enjoyment, with black and red cherry, forest fruits, plum and gentle spice at its centre. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and fresh, shaped by fine tannins and lively acidity before a long, dry finish. Produced by the Astrolabe team from Marlborough fruit, it delivers clear varietal flavour without becoming heavy or overly oaked. It is an easy fit for weeknight dinners and relaxed weekend meals, especially alongside roast duck, lamb, venison, roasted vegetables or tomato-based dishes.
What the winery says:
Bright garnet in colour, the wine opens with black and red cherry, forest fruits and spice. The medium-bodied palate follows with dark cherry, red berry and plum flavours, a silky texture and a long, dry finish. The winery describes it as an early-drinking style with generous, bright fruit and supple tannins. Suggested food matches include duck, lamb, venison, roasted vegetables and dishes featuring tomato, pomegranate or tamarind. The wine is certified under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.
