Giesen has selected fruit from multiple premium vineyards across Marlborough's Awatere and Wairau Valleys. The cooler, drier and windier Awatere contributes minerality and texture, while Wairau fruit adds tropical and lively citrus character. The juice was fermented at relatively cool temperatures with selected yeasts to preserve aromatic purity, then spent time on fine lees to build complexity and mouthfeel. The finished wine is 13.2% alcohol, with flavours spanning passionfruit, pineapple, guava, peach, green apple, nectarine and fresh citrus, finishing long and crystalline.
