Framingham Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Framingham Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, textural take on Marlborough's signature variety, grown across eight vineyard sites in the greater Wairau Valley. The nose is classic and salivating, layering citrus pith and grapefruit with apple, stone fruit and a mineral, wet-pebble edge. On the palate, tropical passionfruit and pineapple meet green nettle and a fine backbone of acidity, finishing with a distinct saline note. A small portion of the blend is fermented and aged in large-format oak and acacia puncheons, lending subtle texture without diluting the wine's bright, aromatic core. Best enjoyed from release through 2028.
What the winery says:
Framingham sources fruit from eight vineyards spanning the greater Wairau Valley – from the stony riverbed soils of Renwick and western Rapaura to the clay of the Southern Valleys and the silt loams of the Lower Wairau – all certified sustainable under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. The wine is fermented predominantly in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve varietal character, with a small portion fermented in large-format oak and acacia puncheons. Much of the blend spends time ageing on full ferment lees, building mouthfeel and complexity in Framingham's classic, layered style.
