Stoneleigh Latitude Pinot Gris 2025
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Stoneleigh Latitude Pinot Gris is grown on the Golden Mile, Marlborough's ancient, stone-strewn stretch along the Wairau Valley that ripens fruit with extra warmth and intensity. Fruit from the Squire Vineyard is gently pressed and cool-fermented with aromatic yeast strains, then held on lees to build texture. The result is a lifted, aromatic pinot gris with Nashi pear, white nectarine and honeydew melon on the nose, joined by a whisper of aniseed and tropical fruit. The palate turns rich and warm, layered with spice, and finishes fresh, weighty and long. A textural white with real presence, it suits everything from a Caesar salad to grilled seafood.
What the winery says:
Fruit from the Squire Vineyard was gently destemmed and bag-pressed, with juice cold settled before fermentation, and free-run and clarified pressings fermented cool using selected aromatic yeast strains to lift varietal character. The wine was held on lees to build texture and complexity. It displays fresh aromatics of Nashi pear, white nectarine and honeydew melon, layered with aniseed and subtle tropical notes, with a rich, warm palate showing spice-laced highlights and a fresh, weighty finish.
