Ravenswood Vintners Blend Merlot is a smooth, fruit-driven California red with black plum, cherry and gentle savoury notes of olive, spice and toast. Medium-bodied and dry, it carries plenty of ripe fruit without becoming heavy, supported by soft tannins and a rounded, juicy finish. Ravenswood was founded by Joel Peterson in 1976 and became best known for its bold approach to Californian red wine, a character that comes through clearly in this approachable Merlot.
