Knappstein Clare Valley Shiraz 2022

Knappstein Clare Valley Shiraz comes from the Estate, Yertabulti and Provis vineyards at the northern end of the Clare Valley, off vines over 38 years old. Blueberry and raspberry aromas carry a hint of spice through to a dark-fruited palate, framed by fine oak for a long finish.

A wet spring with record November rain set up the season well, with favourable flowering and fruit set supporting quality and yield. Cool December and January weather gave long, steady ripening, developing a rich combination of fruit flavours. Estate-grown and sustainably farmed as a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.
