Moulin de Gassac Chardonnay
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Moulin de Gassac Chardonnay is a generous, unoaked Chardonnay from the Languedoc, made by the Guibert family behind Mas de Daumas Gassac. It offers the ripe fruit and rounded texture many Chardonnay drinkers enjoy, while stainless steel maturation preserves enough freshness and mineral definition to keep the wine balanced. Full flavoured without becoming heavy, it is an approachable southern French white for relaxed entertaining or serving alongside seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta and grilled vegetables.
What the winery says:
Brilliant rich gold in colour, with a full nose showing citrus and wild flowers. Defined fruit flavours open across the palate with a subtle hint of honey, leading into a full, buttery and persistent finish. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown on clay and limestone soils near the Thau Lagoon, the fruit is destemmed and receives three days of skin maceration before maturing for five to six months in stainless steel.
