Ash Ridge Hawkes Bay Ash Chardonnay is a bold, generously flavoured Hawke's Bay Chardonnay with peach, nectarine and lemon wrapped in roasted hazelnut, toast, vanilla and a flicker of flinty smoke. The palate is medium-full bodied, with fresh acidity keeping all that richness moving and a lingering, vanillin finish. Ash is the first wine released under Ash Ridge's new Ash label, giving fans of the Bridge Pa producer something decidedly more ambitious to explore. A strong pick for lovers of rich, toasty Chardonnay, especially alongside roast chicken, pork or a creamy mushroom dish.

Ash Ridge is a small, family-run organic vineyard and winery based in Hawke's Bay's Bridge Pa Triangle, operated by Leith and Tracy Ashworth.
