The Chardonnay was grown in the stony soils of Wairau River’s Home vineyard and handpicked before being gently pressed into French oak. It underwent spontaneous fermentation and was matured for 11 months. The winery describes ripe stone fruit, flint and citrus zest alongside vanilla and brioche, with excellent fruit weight balanced by fine acidity.
