Tony Bish Two Terraces Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2024
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Tony Bish Two Terraces Hawkes Bay Chardonnay is a powerful, beautifully refined single-vineyard Chardonnay from one of Hawke’s Bay’s most highly regarded sites. Rich white peach, citrus and baked apple meet roasted hazelnut, fine spice and savoury oak, all driven by bright acidity and a delicate chalky texture. Intense and layered, but never heavy, this is a serious Chardonnay with outstanding length, precision and ageing potential.
What the winery says:
Two Terraces is made entirely from regeneratively farmed Mendoza clone Chardonnay grown in the Mangatahi sub-region. The fruit was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, with only the free-run juice fermented in new and seasoned French oak barriques. Following indigenous fermentation and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 11 months before a rigorous barrel selection. Lifted herbs, white flowers, lemon curd and spicy oak lead into hazelnut, white peach and orange blossom, with a powerful citrus line, fine acidity and super-fine phenolics carrying the long finish.
