Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rosé is bright, dry and packed with the sort of fruit that makes an empty glass feel slightly premature. Strawberry, wild berries and red cherry lead the charge, joined by rose petal, gentle herbs and a little citrusy zip through the finish. Made from Italy’s great red grape but given the full South Australian sunshine treatment, it is lively and generous without tipping into sweetness. A top fridge-door candidate for sunny afternoons, loaded platters, tomato-heavy dishes or anything requiring a reliably refreshing pink.

Coral pink in colour, with lively aromas of strawberry, candy, oregano flowers, soft green herbs and native bush myrtle. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, bringing together strawberry, fresh wild berries, red cherry, fig and rose petal tea before a lingering, zesty finish. The Sangiovese grapes receive brief skin contact to develop their colour, before the juice is transferred to stainless steel for wild fermentation. Vegan friendly.
