Brancott Estate Letter Series 'O' Marlborough Chardonnay 2024

Brancott Estate Letter Series 'O' Marlborough Chardonnay takes its letter from Omaka, the Marlborough sub-region the fruit is now sourced from - a change from the label's earlier Gisborne-grown days. It's the richer, more textural end of Brancott's range, built around barrel character and mealy complexity rather than the estate's crisper varietal wines.

What the winery says: "This is a highly textured wine with flinty characters which marries beautifully with strong stone fruit and citrus notes, toasty and mealy complexity. Scattered throughout are notes of nutmeg and clove with floral highlights of jasmine. The luxurious palate is rich, soft and full of peaches, cream and toasted hazelnuts all combining to give a full textural finish."
