McGuigan Private Bin Shiraz is a soft, juicy style built for everyday drinking rather than the cellar. Mellow aromas of plum, dark cherry and spicy oak lead into a medium bodied palate of luscious dark fruit, with gentle pepper and spice undertones running through to the finish. Made from South Eastern Australian fruit as part of McGuigan's Private Bin range, it favours easy drinkability over intensity. What the winery says:

The grapes are picked as their flavours reach peak ripeness, with harvest carried out in the cool of the evening. Fruit is crushed and fermented on skins to build colour, then matured across a combination of stainless steel tanks and American oak chips before filtering and bottling. The Private Bin range takes its inspiration from the McGuigan family's tradition of sharing a special wine with guests.
