Main Divide Rose 2024
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Main Divide Rosé brings a generous, bright-fruited spin to North Canterbury rosé, with watermelon, strawberry, kumquat and pear-drop flavours lifted by citrus blossom and soft floral notes. A complementary mix of varieties gives it more shape and texture than a featherweight pink, while lively acidity keeps the palate fresh, supple and dangerously easy to revisit. Made by the Pegasus Bay team, this is a smart buy for anyone who likes rosé with both refreshment and personality. Serve well chilled with antipasti, charcuterie or a fragrant Thai beef salad.
What the winery says:
A cool, windy spring reduced the 2024 crop, before a warm, settled summer and favourable autumn allowed the fruit to reach optimum ripeness. The grapes were harvested between 12 and 30 March. Free-run juice received brief skin contact for colour, then underwent cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Bottled shortly afterwards, the finished wine has 12.5% alcohol and 1.9 g/l residual sugar. The winery highlights watermelon, kumquat, strawberry, pear drops and florals, with lively acidity, supple texture and impressive palate weight.
