Fromm Organic Syrah 2022

FROMM Organic Syrah is a poised, cool-climate Marlborough Syrah built around dark berries, boysenberry and plum, with black pepper, cacao and savoury spice bringing plenty of detail. The palate is juicy and energetic rather than heavy, framed by polished tannins and fresh acidity through a long, finely balanced finish. FROMM is a small, certified-organic producer with a firm belief in terroir over technology, and this captures that philosophy beautifully. A smart match for lamb, duck, charcuterie or anything carrying a little smoke and spice.

Fragrant dark berry fruit, cacao and black pepper lead into a vibrant palate filled with juicy summer berries, boysenberry and pantry spice. A small addition of Viognier brings aromatic lift, while extended maturation in predominantly seasoned French oak builds complexity without overwhelming the fruit. Ripe, finely formed tannins and fresh acidity give the wine poise, structure and excellent length. Certified organic.
