TAPI Organic Cuvee Brut NV
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
TAPI Organic Cuvée Brut opens with a firm pop and long, fine streams of bubbles, leading into aromas of grapefruit, red apple and lemon curd, lifted by hints of hazelnut and vanilla. The palate carries flavours of lemon zest and ripe nectarine, framed by textural acidity that gives real length and persistence, finishing with a savoury note of almond biscuit dough. Made from estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the lower Wairau Valley, this barrel-aged Marlborough sparkling has genuine depth and complexity for its price point. A versatile aperitif style, it's equally at home as a celebratory pour or alongside oysters, soft cheeses or light canapés.
What the winery says: Made from hand-picked Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from the estate's own lower Wairau Valley vineyards, the fruit is gently whole-bunch pressed before the base wine is 100% barrel fermented in old French oak barriques and aged on lees in barrel for six months. The secondary fermentation is then completed in stainless steel over six to eight weeks, a method chosen to preserve the wine's aromatics and freshness.
