The grapes came from the family-owned Windrush and Terrace Stone vineyards, located approximately five kilometres apart near Renwick. The fruit was destemmed and pressed, with one hour of skin contact to build flavour complexity. Fermentation took place in 90% stainless steel and 10% barrel, using a combination of inoculated and wild yeasts in the barrel portion.
