Following a challenging growing season, the grapes were carefully selected and harvested in late March and early April. After crushing, the fruit received a period of skin contact before pressing, with the cloudy juice transferred to seasoned oak puncheons for natural fermentation. The wine was then matured in these barrels for approximately three months before bottling.
