The dry, medium-bodied palate has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, vibrant acidity and gentle spice through the finish. Fruit was sourced from the Rivermere, Čuvar Lower Terrace, Kokako and Te Hau vineyards in Hawke's Bay, with both hand and machine harvesting used. The grapes were gently pressed, then fermented with a combination of natural and inoculated yeasts. Half of the wine was fermented in barrel, including 10% new barriques, while the balance fermented in stainless steel. One month of lees stirring followed fermentation, with natural malolactic fermentation occurring through spring.
