The vintage was predominantly mild and dry, with careful vine balance producing fruit showing strong vibrancy and fruit character. Fermentation took place in static fermenters at controlled temperatures, followed by 7-10 days on skins to build structure and soft, fleshy tannins. French and American oak were used sparingly to retain maximum fruit expression.
