Fruit was picked from different blocks and fermented separately in 5-tonne open fermenters, with 7 to 10 days on skins before being pressed into oak to complete fermentation. The oak regime included 30% new French oak and 5% American oak. Mr Riggs describes the wine as intensely bright, floral and fragrant, with a soft, flavoursome palate, fine-grained tannins and a balanced finish.
