Following harvest, the fruit was destemmed and given a period of skin maceration to gently extract flavour, texture and ripe phenolics before pressing. Fermentation took place in a combination of seasoned French oak barrels and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with the wine then matured for eight months before bottling. An excellent growing season, marked by a warm, settled autumn, helped deliver beautifully balanced fruit. The resulting wine offers fresh pear, stone fruit and citrus flavours, fine texture and vibrant natural acidity.
