The vineyards sit on naturally terraced, alluvial gravel soils overlooking the Awatere River and are farmed using regenerative viticulture principles. Harvested in the cool early hours of 7 March 2025, the fruit was destemmed and immediately pressed before fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity. The wine then spent six months ageing on its lees, developing additional texture and complexity before bottling.
