Fruit was harvested at night at around 13.5 to 14.0 Baume and fermented across a range of vessels. A portion of the wine spent six months in one-year-old and older French and American oak barrels, while the remainder was kept cool to retain fresh fruit character. The finished wine shows fragrant cassis, ripe plum, mint and subtle cedar oak, with rich black fruit, fine-grained tannins and a soft, generous palate.
